Fees are calculated on an agreed scope and brief, schedule of services and deliverables. A fixed number of meetings or site inspections are included. Clients generally prefer the flexibility of monitoring & controlling services & costs in each stage so that any change to the scope [increase/decrease] can be addressed in a subsequent FP.
The quantum of fees is a function of: project complexity, project control & management, the size of consultant team (and our role as lead consultant), procurement strategy and program. We have plenty of experience managing projects and can provide traditional, full architectural services, selecting builders and administering a building contract.
We offer a variety of other non core services such as exploratory sketch designs [‘run up flagpole’] 3D modelling, donor presentations, collaboration with artists & specialist designers/artisans. Where possible a fee allowance is calculated & agreed beforehand.
We use the AIA Client & Architect Agreement in which stages, services & deliverables are clear and defined
Our services are carried out under the NSW Architects Act and in accordance with the NSW Architects Code of Professional Conduct. As a member of the Australian Institute of Architects our services comply with its Code of Professional Conduct.
