Over the past 20 years the primary focus is work in the Education, Residential and Heritage Conservation sectors.

JOHN COCKINGS
Before founding JCA, John worked with various architectural firms across four countries and three continents, handling a diverse range of architectural projects such as new residential homes, public buildings, and institutional structures. His clientele ranged from local governments to institutional, educational, commercial, and private residential sectors.
As an architect, John is committed to repairing and enhancing the built environment, effecting positive change through design and his passion for knowledge and understanding. His philosophy emphasises good design and humane architecture, fostering affinities and creating harmonious, appealing spaces.
Additionally, John serves as an external examiner for the NSW Architects Registration Board. He has also tutored at architecture faculties and established a mentorship program for young architects in his practice.
